This one beats Dordrecht in prettiness, although I hear it can be unpleasantly swarmed on market day during tourist season.
Though the guide I've read about this town puts down one of the new church (new being 14th century), but I find it presented even better than the old one, despite having it's treasure, the mausoleum being hidden for a six-year repair job.
The brick lined canals have now part of my stereotypical Dutch town image. Still, I long to see a smaller town. These places are cobble stone covered from head to toe and there's no hint of nature beyond the ducks in the canal.
